Alright y’all, here we are. The Elite 8 is done, we have our regional champs, and the Final 4 is set. We’ll start the voting for the Final 4 now and it will be open today through Thursday, April 4 at 5pm Central. Championship round voting will be Friday through Sunday with the Champ announced on Monday, April 8.

CLASSIC DRAMA REGION

4 Batman vs 10 Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood

Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was the sweetheart of our tournament, taking out some real contenders. They met their match in Batman in the Elite 8 with the Dark Knight taking the Classic Drama region by a final of 66-34.

 

CLASSIC COMEDY REGION

1 Gilligan’s Island vs 2 The Flintstones

The Classic Comedy region was the only one to go chalk. The Flintstones has had their way with the competition throughout this region and that did not stop when they faced 1 seed Gilligan’s Island as the modern stone age family won the region 74-26.

 

MODERN DRAMA REGION

3 Cops vs 4 The Wonder Years

Cops had their biggest test of the Modern Drama region in the Elite 8. The Wonder Years fought valiantly but came up short by a final of 66-34.

 

MODERN COMEDY REGION

2 The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air vs 8 The Office

The Office was a bit of a surprise dark horse in this tournament. The Fresh Prince has had their run of these votes. This was the closest match-up of the Elite 8 — you guys REALLY like some upbeat piano. In the end, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air took the Modern Comedy region with a 3 vote 54-46 victory.

Thank you all again for taking time to vote on these match-ups. We have the winners of each region and I’m all in on the champs. I’m more than a little surprised by some of the paths we took to get here but, as usual, I feel like I’ve learned a lot about yall through this bracket.

We have no 1 seeds in the Final 4 for the second year in a row. We end up with two 2’s, a 3, and a 4 seed in the Final Four. These are a couple of very good match-ups in the Semi-Final round.

The Final 4 polls are under the bracket. One vote per person per match-up.
