Well guys, here we are – the regional finals of our TV Theme Songs bracket. The Sweet 16 had some great match-ups and sent one of my personal favorites packing.

A bit of housekeeping – I got to a late start on the first round, so our voting will be a little condensed this week. Voting for the Elite 8 will be Monday and Tuesday, Final 4 will be Wednesday and Thursday. Championship round voting will be Friday through Sunday with the Champ announced on Monday. Let’s get to it!

CLASSIC DRAMA REGION

4 Batman vs 9 Spider-Man

I was really excited for this superhero match-up. DC vs Marvel. The Dark Knight vs The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The Caped Crusader came out on top as Batman wins over Spider-Man 75-25.

6 The Twilight Zone vs 10 Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood

Our Cinderella story continues as Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood gets by The Twilight Zone by a final score of 60-40. It has taken out some huge contenders.

 

CLASSIC COMEDY REGION

1 Gilligan’s Island vs 5 The Addams Family

Gilligan’s Island finally had it’s first real test this round, winning over The Addams Family 56-44.

2 The Flintstones vs 3 Happy Days

The Flintstones continued rolling the competition, moving on with ease against Happy Days 71-29.

 

MODERN DRAMA REGION

1 Game of Thrones vs 4 The Wonder Years

I love the GoT theme song so much. I thought it was coming out of this region but it would have to beat some stiff competition. The Wonder Years finally proved too much as they went on to the 58-42 upset.

2 The Sopranos vs 3 Cops

I thought this match-up would be close. I was in no way correct. The 3 seed Cops beat the hell out of The Sopranos 87-13.

8 The Office vs 12 Saved By the Bell

The 8 seed The Office barely snuck by a very strong 12 seed Saved By the Bell by a final score of 53-47.

2 The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air vs 14 Scrubs

One of the early favorites in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air keeps on cruising past their foes, sending the surprisingly strong 14 seeded Scrubs packing 80-20.
